2008: Dennis Omondi and Allison Omondi is called to pastor Word of Life Fellowship Church

2009: James Muthee and Jacinta Muthee joins Dennis and Allison.

2010: A vision “Vision Move” to move the entire church from the beach into the community is born.

2011: The Church buys a 2 acre peace of land at Kona Musa

2012: Pastor James Muthee is ordained as a pastor and assistant to Rev. Dennis Omondi

2013: The Church transitions from a leadership team to a Eldership with Rev. Dennis Omondi, Pastor James Muthee, Mr. Godfrey Ikanda and Mr. Fredrick Munyithya as the first elders.

2014: Vision Move is modified and instead of all the people moving an agreement is reached with Word of Life to leave a congregation at Word of Life. Southcoast Community Church is officially registered and about 60 people move to Serve Kenya Compound as preparation at the Kona Musa Plot continues.

2019: Rev. Dennis Omondi resigns and Rev. James Muthee takes over as the senior pastor. Elder Elijah Musili and Daniel Achoka are ordained.
